70.Three notifications, and no more.!!

The problem: A capture app can nudge at any moment, and most nudges make people turn notifications off.
The options: Every moment the app could push, listed, with the reason most were refused; a morning summary only; three, each its own switch.
The move: Three, each off until turned on, all in one place. A morning summary, the week on Sunday evening, and a reminder before an event. The same ledger records every push so the quality bar can be measured.
What we accepted: Less engagement, by design. No streaks, no counts against you, nothing that fires because it has been a while.
When we would revisit: If the act-on rate of any of the three drops, that one goes, not a fourth comes.
